Overview

When creating a new password, the system will validate the password's strength entered in the New Password field on the Reset Password screen using 30,000 common passwords, names, words, and patterns to ensure your password is as secure as possible. 


Password Requirements

  • The Kroll's Managed Compliance Software password must contain at least 9 alphanumeric characters, which can include spaces.
  • When resetting a password, you cannot reuse the current password.
  • You must wait 15 minutes between password reset requests.

Creating/Resetting a Password

When creating or resetting your password, the system will validate the password's strength and requirements using a color-coded password indicator. If your password does not meet the system's minimum requirements, the password indicator will suggest how to strengthen the password. 

  • Red: The password does not meet the minimum requirements.
  • Yellow: The password does meet some of the minimum requirements.
  • Green: The password meets the minimum requirements.
  • Blue: The password surpasses the minimum requirements.

Password Expiration

By default, a password expires every 90 days. The User will be prompted to change their password after successfully logging in.


Failed Login Attempt

After three failed login attempts, you will be locked out of your account, and you must wait 15 minutes before attempting to log in again.
